Word-Light Wednesdays: On The Joys of Gardening, Even In April
Collard greens that winter-over. Eating from our little plot even before the lettuce is ready. The old collards will bolt soon and run to seed, and we will replant.
I loooooove collards! Envious of your community garden space. We have had little success coaxing anything edible out of our teeny tiny backyard patch. But the hostas are unfurling beautifully.
Schroe, I know too well the pain of trying to eke vegetables out of a plot more suited to hostas. Too, too well. Moss snuggling up to tomato plats is never a hopeful sign.
